Biography
April Jones serves as Geyer Legal Group, PC’s Medicaid and VA Planning Paralegal, drawing on a diverse background in public service, client advocacy, healthcare, and public safety. Before entering the legal field, she spent 12 years working in medicolegal death investigation as a Certified Coroner.
April holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Master of Science in Biochemistry, and she is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work, with a goal of obtaining a Doctor of Social Work degree.
April uses her experience in science, investigation, law, and human services to help individuals and families navigate Medicaid eligibility, Veterans benefits, long-term care planning, and asset protection strategies. Her work is driven by a strong commitment to advocacy, service, and improving outcomes for vulnerable populations. She is dedicated to helping others navigate difficult circumstances with compassion, integrity, and practical support.
